A Hard Day's Night - The Beatles

El álbum A Hard Day's Night fue lanzado el 10 de julio de 1964 por el estudio discográfico Parlophone. Fue el tercer álbum de estudio grabado por The Beatles.

Alcanzó la posición uno y desbancó al anterior LP del grupo, With the Beatles, y permaneciendo en ese puesto durante veintiún semanas de las treinta y ocho que se mantuvo en lista.

Algo más de siete meses bastaron para componer las trece canciones del album A Hard Day’s Night, el mismo, mantuvo la estructura de canciones e instrumentación del rock and roll básico y mostraba el desarrollo de los talentos de los compositores del grupo. Este Album fue el primer disco de The Beatles en contener solo composiciones originales y enteramente compuestas por Lennon-McCartney.

Lo normal era que en la confección de cada álbum de The Beatles, Paul McCartney y John Lennon contribuyeran en partes iguales con sus canciones, pero en el disco A Hard Day's Night de trece canciones, la autoría en la composición de los temas fue en su mayoria de Lennon.

Se puede decir que este disco y la película homónima subió definitivamente a The Beatles a lo mas alto, la fiebre por el grupo habia comenzado a ambos lados del Atlántico.

A Hard Day’s Night tiene uno de las aperturas más reconocibles en la historia de la música, con la canción que da título al álbum y que abre con ese acorde tan absolutamente inolvidable. Después de grabar las cinco canciones ‘A Hard Day’s Night‘ se convirtió en el tema emblema del disco al ser incluída como tema principal de la película.

El álbum contiene algunas de las canciones de The Beatles más famosas, incluido el tema que le da nombre al disco y "Can't Buy Me Love", estos dos temas fueron número 1 a ambos lados del Atlántico. El álbum retrataba perfectamente la clásica imagen del grupo, tal como se les veía en la cúspide de la Beatlemanía.
